We are BORED with winter clothes. Spring cannot come soon enough

We have meetings today, so we are in “smart” Monday mode. I am really looking forward to breaking out some spring clothing, but it is still only FEBRUARY, and if we start wearing spring now, not only will spring pieces look a little – scratch that, look a lot – eccentric if the temperature drops, but we will be bored with our spring wardrobe by April. So we are exercising all our will-power to stay in winter clothes.
I am working the sexy secretary (or, as I have decided to call it, the libidinous librarian) look today. I have on a high-waisted, black leather pencil skirt by #Danier, a #Canadian leather brand I have become rather fond of during my frequent visits to #Vancouver. When I bought it two years ago, it just seemed like a very wearable and well priced leather skirt, but with its ladylike length and high waist, it has turned out to be unexpectedly directional. I have teamed it with a ladylike grey blouse with long sleeves and pintucking, bought from a North London boutique called #Leila which has branches in Muswell Hill, Islington and Crouch End. Black opaques from M&S and black suede shoeboots from Office complete the outfit, though I may swap the shoeboots for black ballet pumps from #LK Bennett if we have to do a lot of walking today.
Cyndy is also rocking a ladylike blouse, with rich cream silk number from #LK Bennett, with herringbone tweed trousers from Zara, very on-trend brown patent brogues from #Marks & Spencer and a gorgeous #Murrano glass necklace by #Voltolina which was a Valentine’s gift from her husband.
