With the weather having gone in one week from winter to summer barely stopping for spring (though I suspect we can expect some mixed spring weather later this week – and probably for the rest of April), I am rocking a full-on summery dress on this (still very warm) Monday.
It is a cream and brown tunic by Mimosa with – what I now see in the photograph, which I didn’t see with a naked eye – is a kind of skull print. Later in the year, I will wear it with platform sandals, but for now, I am wearing brown ballerinas from LK Bennett, a black bangle from the V&A gift shop and my gorgeous new cocktail ring by clever London fashion-jewellery designer Lucas Jack.
Cyndy is also having a dress day – she is wearing a full-skirted shirt dress by Lesley Evert, with sandals by LK Bennett, and vintage gold earrings. She is still on the hunt, trying to replace her Laurent Guillot Perspex earrings which she managed to throw away last week. She is rather hoping her lovely Paris-based friend Hilary will find time to visit Guillot’s shop in the Marais district and find another pair.
Have you broken out your summer wardrobe yet?
